If you’re reading this chances are, however solitary your medium, you might be feeling you are missing out on being part of something bigger, or let’s not beat about the bush, downright lonely. Sometimes those closest to you just don’t get how you are feeling. Over the years I’ve really struggled. Too much time down the rabbit hole, and when I did come up for air, I just couldn’t be arsed to talk. My work always felt unfinished, I never wanted to explain my frustrations. I came very reluctantly to group work, but my creative community convinced me to give it a try and so HEX SET was born. Truth is, it’s one of the most satisfying things I have done as a coach. I keep the numbers small (six, naturally). Regardless of whether you are a musician or a designer an artist, actor or an ad creative, I guarantee you’ll walk away feeling inspired. We’ve all got so much in common - the struggle with self worth, the belief that any success is a bit of a fluke, how to start when to finish, calming the inner critic. the list goes on. But getting together in a coaching space isn’t a moan fest, we get stuff aired. We laugh.( A lot.) It sparks a support network and friendships that last long after the sessions.
